solar Mithral use solar energy for sustenance more often than anything else, which is both a blessing and a curse. They can also use the energy to make weapons, tools, shapes and images, and to transfer that energy to imbue items or heal.

Life as a Mithral
Halazia, Capitol, Central Kingdom
Halazia, as the central most capitol of the Mithral Kingdom, is a vast city with marvelous architecture and ancient history embedded into every cobblestone. At the heart of Halazia are towering trees which the elder Mithral have made into a city-esque location, bustling with royals, militia, businesses, and visitors from other Mithral Kingdoms. It is not often, in the crowd, that one might see someone who isn't of elf descent, but occasionally (as it was with Taeseuk), the Mithral do have visitors. Some come for dark business, and some just for adventure, but there is definitely something to see.Halazia spreads over 20 miles, encompasing vast woods, farm lands, bodies of fresh water, rivers, and little villages along the way. As a royal, Minjun's job was to know every part of Halazia and how it worked, from the agriculture and ranching all the way to the wilderness and how it can be harnessed for good. His people took pride in being one with their land, finding ways to be one with nature that brought as little intervention into the flora and fauna as possible.It isn't a strange thing to find a young Mithral in the woods, either hunting or gathering, or simply observing someone else do it. The payment system among the regular folk in Halazia is usually bartering, one good exchanged for another of similar value. However, among the higher class and royals, there is a Mithral money that circulates, finely crafted silver and gold coins exchanged instead. Within Halazia, there is a common practice to keep things fair, but for those who want to trick, or steal, there are steep consequences.From a birdseye view, Halazia is a shining white city, with a pearlescent gleam in the sun, as if the city itself shines like it's people. Lush greens and flora are everywhere, cobbled paths crafted finely to keep ones feet clean and steady. Intricately carved doorways and windows, finely painted murals depicting history, and the famed carvings out of stonefaces are all prized memories Mithral people from Halazia hold fondly in their hearts.One might hear music and laughter from the pubs and gatherings held, and there is always a warm hearth in which you can find a good meal. The fauna and flora tend to glow in the night, a Mithral never being lost in the woods of Halazia. Laments in their tongue can also often be heard, especially in times of mourning, praise, and from gatherings in the temples. One of Minjun's favorite things are the laments sang at military funerals, the sound something he's oddly found comforting over the years.The surrounding woods of Halazia are enchanted with runes and old magic many Mithral do not presently practice or understand. The city and kingdom are concealed this way, and the royal guard protects its borders quietly and with an iron fist, unwilling to let everything they've preserved be harmed without a fight.If you are lucky enough to enter Halazia, remind yourself that it is an honor very few get to live and tell about.

Leaving Halazia
Minjun was born to parents of the royal Kang line, the current ruling family of the Mithral Kingdom. He is their only child, his parents pride and joy. However, life as a young elf is what many would consider archaic and strict. By a very young age, Minjun knew how to identify plants that were edible, versus which ones were not, able to navigate, start fires, tend to animals, and help with household chores. This kept young Minjun busy and out of trouble.Running with his cousins did earn him a thicker skin, as some elven youth would mock them because of their royal status. He ended up in many scuffles because of this, and at this point his father intervened and began teaching Minjun hunting and combat skills. He took to this quickly, especially archery, and he became one of the top marskmen his people had ever seen. He truly hardly ever missed, and due to this, he was called up around the age of 17 (over 200 in elven years) to serve on the Royal Guard.His cousin was chosen as the next heir, and he is to follow him, so his focus did not have to turn to leadership training, though it showed on the field as well. Minjun was a loyal soldier, caring for his fellow men tirelessly. When another conflict arose at the wall (close to 350 years old at this time), Minjun went to battle. It is here that the course set for his life changed.He was shot with an arrow, deflected by his helm, but another followed right after it, striking his eye. The impact temporarily blinded him, and another shot found the gap in his armor, hitting his chest. He tumbled down off the wall and to the ground hundreds of feet below. Had he not landed close to fellow men, he surely would have died of his injuries. He was healed, and sent to rest.During his time of rest (50 years), Minjun learned further helpful skills, and tended to village children and other tasks necessary for thriving. During this time, he took to patroling the woods for the guard, and this is when he met Taeseuk, a nulhound coming off of a rampage. The two struck up a bond, but soon enough, Taeseuk left the safety of the Mithral Kingdom, and did not return.Fearful for his friend, the loss weighed heavily on him, and finally, he grew determined to see the outside world. His family begged him to reconsider, not wanting to lose their son, but he was firm in his decision. However, life outside of the safety of his people was hard, and soon enough he was struggling, starving, lost and alone. He's rescued by another nulhound, one named Kaden, and his family nursed him back to health. Shortly thereafter, he is reunited with Taeseuk, and the rest... is well... history.Minjun, in his time in Seoul, fell in love with three souls. The first, Ares, a gluttony sin with a beautiful face and a heart of gold. Their connection was sparked through several interactions that eventually led to him falling head over heels for the sin. Rael was soon to follow, and perhaps the most unexpected. A drow, Mithral's sworn enemy, was like a moth to flame with Minjun, and even despite trying to (and sort of wanting to) kill the drow, Minjun fell for him.The bond that followed was powerful, instant, undeniable. Within the year of meeting, dating, and falling in love, Minjun and Rael were engaged. He was shortly after promised to both Ares and Taeseuk. He was promise bound, the Mithral way, with both Rael and Ares as well. Everything was perfect...
Capture and Recovery
Until it wasnt...Taejun, his cousin and acting ruler of Halazia, the center of the Mithral Kingdom, went crazy and sought to kidnap, corrupt, and kill Minjun. He was successful for the first two plans. Thankfully, Ares, Taeseuk, Rael, and Kaden came to his aid with his old friend, Kihyun, to rescue him from a forced marriage and certain death. Though he was tortured, he remained strong. But after his return to Seoul, Minjun is showing clear signs of PTSD, and has become more withdrawn and fearful. He has to piece together his life and work on connections that were damaged in the process of his kidnapping. Minjun, having killed his cousin, deems himself unworthy to rule, hating everything his family once stood for. To cleanse the royal line, Minjun abdicated his position and throne to his friend Kihyun, who he deems will be a more stable, kind, understanding ruler.The recovery for Minjun is ongoing, but most immediately after his kidnapping it was felt that he had a harder time communicating, was very insecure in his relationships, and turned inwardly much of the time. It had an incredibly negative impact on his relationships, though not all was bad. During this time, Minjun realized how fragile life was, and decided to start a family of his own with Rael, his fiance. In December of 2024, they welcomed their daughter Seoha, who was blessed to have three loving fathers alongside Minjun's side. As sweet as the moment was, it was not built to last, and slowly, things began to crumble.
Shadow Work
First, it was Ares.His first lover he'd taken, despite his first love being Taeseuk, decided they could not remain in the relationship with he and Taeseuk. When Ares left, and broke the bond they shared, Minjun was left in shambles. He spent much of his days crying, lamenting, trying to pick up the broken pieces of his life. But as it goes with repairing broken things, it is never a sure, smooth process. And one by one, things began to turn to dust slipping through his fingers.Rael was the next to leave.It was unexpected, sharp like the edge of a knife, and it shattered him. He couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, had lost all desire for the things he loved. It was just going through the motions. The things keeping him together were now his love for Taeseuk and Seoha, who had just unknowingly lost her father in the process too, and Megumi, who became another treasure he would never forget in the process. The fox became a trauma bond, the loss of Rael too painful and blinding for the two of them, though they survived with each other.During this time he focused on building his connections with his family and friends, though something wasn't right. Everywhere they turned there were shadows and memories, things he could not escape from and have peace from. Due to this, and fear of not being able to help their daughter, Minjun and Taeseuk decided to move away for a while, in touch with a group of Drow in the United States that could help them. And there started their shadow work. After a couple of months, what felt like forever, Minjun and Taeseuk decided to come home, and to rebuild, and heal properly surrounded by those who truly love them and wish to stay connected.So the question now is... what is next?
Letting Go, Moving Forward
December was a month of struggle. Seoha had her first birthday. For Christmas, Minjun also signed adoption paperwork for Miyoung. Finally, his family seemed so full. Then came the letter from Kihyun. His childhood friend turned new ruler of Halazia was requesting his help. In order to continue healing for Halazia and to purge their world of blind hatred, Minjun was being called to duty for the Royal Assassin Core, a group of highly skilled Mithral dedicated to removing the hating sickness and people from their city and neighboring kingdoms.Minjun almost rejected it.But only a day after the receipt of that, Minjun gets news from Taeseuk that Miyoung has received an offer to go abroad, continue her growth as a dancer, and secure her future as a talent in a cutthroat world. Minjun wouldn't dare ask them to stay, wouldn't dare beg for her to miss this just so he could be comfortable. In truth, he still waited to see if someone might return. He knew it was foolish, of course, waiting for ghosts, but it was his first thought. The other was Yeomna. His newly ignited romance with the nulhound was still in it's early stages, but... he couldn't simply walk away.He was also terrified.This was his home.He didn't like traveling.He had to sit with it for a long time. He sobbed, felt the renewed pain of loss crushing his ribs. Strangling his heart beat to a dull throb. His family broken once more, but it had a bittersweetness. He knew this would not be the last time he saw them. His connection to Miyoung, to Taeseuk... that would never fade. Taeseuk was his first love.But he was being called to duty.And still a prince deep in his bones, he realized he could not walk away. So, painfully, he shares with Taeseuk that he cannot go. Come January, Taeseuk and Miyoung left their home to go on this new adventure, and Minjun retreated into his quiet places, taking days to grieve while he thought of how to respond to Kihyun.Notice was given within days.And he was given his first assignment. He needed to prepare, his physical form not too dull but not nearly sharp enough. He returned to his training, honing himself into a killing machine like he did hundreds of years ago. And within the month, he was ready to begin his work as an assassin of Halazia, keeping this status hidden through his work at the Bakery, and living in spaces once full of so much life.This was his duty.And he had to see it through.

Lim Yeomna
The Relationship Yeomna was the connection, the love that Minjun never saw coming. Given so much heart ache, when he opened himself up to a physical relationship with the nulhound, he did not imagine that it would go anywhere beyond that. However, the chemistry between he and Yeomna was nearly immedate, totally encompassing, and he was breathless by the way it took over. He's been building a relationship with Yeomna since November 2025, and recently confessed feelings for the wolf in February 2026. Given the changes in his life, the loss of so many relationships, he is still timid to fully give himself over to connection with the wolf, but every fiber of his being is begging him to. From this point, Minjun is convinced he is going to live happily ever after with Yeomna, healing from his losses and building a new life with Yeomna together.

The Relationship This precious cupid is now a coworker, but previously he’d only known him due to Taeseuk being his charge. These days he’s happy to assist the Cupid make delicious desserts for people, and enjoys looking after him.

The Relationship Seoha is Minjun’s biological daughter he shares with Rael, a lover lost. Like Rael, Seoha is a Drow elf, which provides quite a few challenges for a Mithral parent. Minjun works diligently to honor her needs while taking care of his own, and has recently found reconnection with his estranged mother due to Seoha. With the loss of relationships, things have been complicated, but they are slowly getting better.

Taeseuk is incredibly intergral to Minjun's life. He was there over 200 years ago, as Minjun's first taste of love, and reconnected with him two years ago just around Christmas. The two had a wonderful, deep relationship that was shared with others. It was also incredibly damaged by these other connections, and despite he and Taeseuk trying to remain close, life had other plans. Taeseuk left Seoul with Minjun's adopted daughter, Miyoung, to help her chase her dance dreams and further her career, and Minjun remained behind. Perhaps one day he and Taeseuk will reconnect, even as friends, but for the present moment, their relationship has come to a standstill. Minjun still looks out for news about Miyoung, and sends love and support from afar as her adopted dad.

Rael is a difficult story for Minjun to tell. One he very much loved, but could not manage to keep. Perhaps they were ill fated from the start, the two being from mortal enemies as far as culture goes. Rael was a very attentive, dedicated partner up until the end. However, during the summer after Seoha was born, Rael struggled with his identity, connections and health, and chose to remove himself to keep everyone else around him safe. It was incredibly heart breaking, especially after just losing Ares, and left Minjun in a place of struggle. Seoha is also a Drow like Rael, and is a constant reminder of his promises, his dedication to Rael, and his promise to continue to improve his people through Kihyun, to better relations for Drow moving foward. He remains in the area in case Rael is to return, hoping he can at least connect with Seoha.

Ares was the first official relationship Minjun ever experienced. The sin was adored by Minjun, and he would move heaven and earth to make sure Ares was okay. However, he shared a relationship with Taeseuk, and while it had it's magical moments, it also brought a bit more stress to everyone's dynamic. Ares began to feel, per his report, unsure about his life, his path, and his presence in the poly relationship. In the Summer of 2025 he left Taeseuk and Minjun, leaving the pair of them in heartache. Minjun never imagined that right behind Ares leaving, Rael would also go. This was the start to struggles in Minjun and Taeseuk's relationship, as they had to figure out how to exist in heartbreak together, and still show up and be present for each other and their family. They were never quite the same after Ares left. Minjun waits to hear from him too, wondering if he'll ever return to Seoul.

Minjun has come a long way in his 500 + years, and has a long way yet to go. He has been through major losses both in family and in romance. He gave up his homeland and connection to it, at least as far as he's concerned. He is very much in a self exploration phase of life right now, and while many things can't change, many can. Minjun has grown much in the area of his sexuality and desires, but there is still much under the surface he hasn't explored yet. The treehouse was originally a gift put together by Taeseuk and Monty, a past friend of the family. The Treehouse is designed to mimic the lofty, canopy homes of the Mithral, with plenty of natural lighting and a lifted living experience. Minjun made it his own with protective runes, which became more frantic and scrambled in the Summer of 2024 just before he was kidnapped. Minjun has constantly done work on the treehouse by his own hands, rather crafty himself, to adjust it to having visitors, which has allowed him to maintain living in this space with their daughter, Seoha, as well. While it is not the average home of a drow, his adjustments allow them to be comfortable in the same space together without causing anyone undue harm. These days, however, Minjun was using the main estate more, but comes for upkeep of the property as he promised Taeseuk he would.

The cottage was originally made for he and Rael, with the hopes they would also raise Seoha there together. However, Rael left, and it became a skeleton of a promise for Minjun. Given the living situation regarding the estate and going to stay with Yeomna has changed things, Minjun is arranging for his mother to make use of the home, as she's recently left Halazia and requires a place to call her own. Minjun keeps the cottage for a variety of reasons, but mostly because he built it by hand, it carries a lot of sentimental value for him, and he hopes that one day Rael will come back to the cottage, remembering the purpose of it, and spend his days with Seoha there.

Taeseuk's estate was one of the first places away from Halazia that he could really call home. He once lived here with Ares, Rael, Taeseuk, Miyoung, Seoha, and others Taeseuk took under his wing. However, much has changed over time, and has greatly shifted the feel of the estate and it's sentimental feelings for Minjun. While the estate is still very dear to him, and holds many wonderful memories, given so many heartaches it now serves more to haunt him than anything else. Minjun has spent the last two months living here alone in Taeseuk's absence, with he and Seoha, and also now his mother. He is arranging for his mother to stay at the cottage he built, in the hopes that she can find solace there, be present for he and Seoha, and that they can continue their rebuild of their relationship. As for Minjun, he comes and goes to the estate, as his garden is still here, and he promised Taeseuk that he would take care of the property, though staff still comes and goes to do that. Minjun has grown accustomed to wandering dark, lonely halls, but perhaps it's time for a change now...

Drama I do not deal well with unplanned drama, as it tends to bleed ooc with those carrying it out, and has led to a variety of negative interactions and outcomes. Auction|Buying Minjun Minjun does not do well with being purchased by someone he does not know. In history, he has been purchased by partners, first Taeseuk and now Yeomna. His hope is that this does not change. However, should you try to steal Minjun, be aware it may cause issues with Yeomna at the very least.
Smut|Relationships Minjun is generally rather reserved, though he does have his moments. However, due to many recent heartbreaks, Minjun is likely to be far more reserved and cold than before. Friendships are still very much welcome, but the same applies; Minjun will likely be a bit colder and has to warm up to your muse. If you want to make a post about Minjun and your muse, as long as it's on point with the current plot, it's allowed! Otherwise, please discuss with me OOC first! Control over Minjun I am very okay with you taking some control of movements or assumptions depending on my writing partner. Initial Feelings
Minjun was friendly with Saebyeok upon their first meeting, excited to celebrate his birthday shortly after. From their interactions beyond this, Minjun began to develop romantic feelings. However, Saebyeok did not fit with his polyamorous lifestyle, and the two decided it would be best to remain trusted friends. Minjun cares deeply for the mage, as well as his child, Heru, and would lay his life down to defend them. He's since become a parental figure to Saebyeok's partner, Hanbyul, and considers them extended family.
Minjun went to a bakery to pick up a special raspberry cake for Saebyeok's birthday.
Minjun first realized his feelings for Saebyeok in February 2024. However, he was in denial of it then.

Initial Feelings
Megumi was always known to him, from the start of his relationship with Rael, as someone Rael was very fond of and close to. However, he had never met with Megumi and bothered to get close to him until after he'd already gotten pregnant with Seoha. However, the fox quickly grew on him, and he and Rael chose him as a god parent to their daughter. When Rael left in August 2025, the two shared the pain of the loss, and got closer.
Minjun met with Megumi after he gets pregnant to discuss the pregnancy and become friendly. Minjun and Rael choose Megumi as a god parent.

Initial Feelings
Minjun went into his connection with Yeomna with very few expectations. The wolf seemed keen to bed him, but Minjun was wary of offering more. Slowly but surely, however, Yeomna began taking him on dates, and the two spent more time together more frequently, especially around the holidays. After Taeseuk left, Yeomna quickly helped Minjun pick up the pieces of his broken heart, and offered safety for Minjun. Minjun felt it was best to begin healing, wanting to be the best version of himself for Yeomna.
Yeomna made his attraction to Minjun obvious early on. Minjun allowed himself to entertain it.
Minjun was taken on a date by Yeomna, which surprised the elf, and began to allow him to picture more with Yeomna.
Yeomna has proven he's rather stubborn and sacrificing when it comes to Minjun, something both adored and considered dangerous.
After Taeseuk left, Yeomna proved himself as a provider and protector, taking Minjun on as a slave and as a lover, looking after him.

Friends with Benefits
Yeomna is a colleage of Taeseuk, another nulhound, who apparently shares a sire with Taeseuk. It's apparent upon their first conversations and meetings that Yeomna is attracted to Minjun, but he seems to dance around the subject out of respect for Taeseuk. Over the next few weeks, Minjun entertains meeting with Yeomna, bringing him meals when he also visits Taeseuk at work, and eventually the two begin to explore flirting.Minjun clarifies boundaries with Taeseuk around this, which includes some nulhound based expectations, and agrees openly to the needs of his partner. Yeomna, out of respect, maintains the boundaries too. However, he cannot resist the attraction, and Minjun soon finds himself tangled up in the wolf's arms.This occurs a few times in their interactions, and Minjun finds himself torn. He had told himself he wouldn't allow himself to grow so close with someone else, too much hurt and heartache from his most recent relationship losses leaving him jaded and timid. However, Yeomna seems to throw caution to the wind, and soon enough, he's asking Minjun out.
First Date
Minjun was very surprised when Yeomna asked him on a date, but embraced it, and turned to Taeseuk to discuss. Taeseuk helped the pair of them prepare, and Minjun found himself rather enjoying the connection. The date was magical, Yeomna appearing dressed to match, flowers in hand, and the romance sparks seemed to fly almost immediately. It's on this date that Minjun begins to consider if his boundary had been too harsh, that perhaps he could indeed allow someone else close, and heal properly to really feel it out. The world begins to make a little more sense in these moments, though Minjun feels himself growing wary. This feeling never lasts too long. Not for him, or his life, if history was anything to go by.
Happy Holidays
Minjun is surprised to hear from Yeomna that he doesn't celebrate the holiday due to the loss in his own life, of his siblings. Minjun feels driven to try to make a new holiday tradition with Yeomna, wanting to comfort him, and he and Yeomna agreed to meet up for a gift exchange. It's during this time that Yeomna meets Seoha, freshly off her first birthday party. This interaction, while seemingly average as far as the holidays go, is very sentimental for Minjun.It's proof that life can change in unexpected ways. Seoha is rather amused by Yeomna and his language and antics, and begins learning his name, and sharing sweet moments with him during the holiday. This event further shows Minjun that he can enjoy building a relationship again, and that he does not have to be afraid to open his life up to others.
Picking up the Pieces
Shortly after the holidays, Minjun receives news from Halazia. Kihyun has identified opponents to expanding Halazia's connection to the outside world and opening up Mithral culture to all that is outside their protective walls. He intially wants to turn this offer for work down, as Kihyun is asking him to join a force of assassins being put together for Halazia, but for some reason hesitates on answering immediately.Afterwards, Taeseuk gives news that he is taking Miyoung abroad to expand her dance career and connections, building her the future she deserves. Minjun is torn, not sure if he should go with them, or if he should stay. He has freshly adopted Miyoung, and savors the last few moments they have united as a family together. He decides, due to this news, that he would like to stay, fearful to live in other places long term, or to travel a lot, and this effectively severs he and Taeseuk's romantic relationship.In the months to follow Minjun continues to work on his grieving, his healing, his world building now that he is unowned and not bound to Taeseuk as a partner. He does promise when Taeseuk leaves, to maintain the property he has called home, and to keep up with them as they travel. During this time, he travels to Halazia, works on repairing his relationship with his mother, which is spurred by her meeting Seoha for the first time, and accepting the role from Kihyun as an assassin.When he returns, his connection with Yeomna continues to kindle, growing stronger, more secure with every moment spent together. In February, after Valentines Day, Yeomna purchases Minjun officially, and offers him a place to stay as well, given Minjun is incredibly alone and struggling at the estate. The pair deepen their relationship, confessing feelings, and while they are aware they want to deepen their connection as mates, both realize now is not the appropriate time to do so. They both have healing and growing they need to do first. But as Minjun sits in this new relationship, and does his healing work, he realizes that this is what he has desired all along, and he's willing to grow and heal in order to be the best partner for Yeomna he can be.
